First of all, clown loaches don't reach sexual maturity until they're
significantly larger than 3". Something else is laying eggs. Second of
all, 74F is a bit too cold for loaches, they would prefer the temp
closer to 80F.
Sorry.

Ok, maybe they are 4 inches. Largest fish in the tank. Only tetras
and small albino catfish live with them. The eggs look large too.
Bigger than a pinhead. Well, I will post back if/when something happens.

Still too small. Clown loaches get to be 12" long. Needless to say, a
20g tank is way too small for them.

I'd be way more than impressed if CLs were laying eggs, in a 20g, period.
They just don't do that in captivity... I've only read 1 story of eggs in a
tank with CLs, and they were proven to be catfish....
My bet it's tetra eggs, which are more likely....

Could be the catfish laying the eggs.

These are almost certainly catfish (corydoras) eggs. They
are surprisingly large for such little fish and they tend to
stick them on the lower levels of the glass. I concur with
Victor, clown loaches don't even start dating until they
are much larger (say 7"+).

Hey thanks, folks! You are all right, they look indeed like
catfish eggs from a Google image search. Thanks for the education
and happy fishing!

Too bad their not cl eggs...getting them to breed in capativity with
