oto not eating?

I bought 4 oto for my new 75G tank. I gave them some sink pellet
(algae wafer) but I noticed that they don't eat the pellet at all.
Instead, they spent their time sucking around on glass and plant
leaves. I am not complaining about their behavior, but curious of why
they wouldn't eat those pellets. Anyone had the same observation?
Also, are 4 oto and 4 cory catfish good enough to clean a 75G tank
with many plants? Thanks.

give them some zuchinni, just to fatten them up, then they'll be ok

Maybe look into getting up to 6-8 more.. a group like that will stay busy
and will do good work... but they rarely eat 'stuff' off plants... maybe the
glass, bottom, equipment, and they may LAY on plants, but rarely do mine
ever eat stuff off of plants...

Initially, my 2 Ottos used to hang out on the Vals but now seem to park
themselves behind the two intake filters of my AquaClear and my Eheim
canister. I neer see them eating though they look quite healthy. I caught
them swimming around last night when the the room was totally dark, but
aside from that they just eat whatever non-visible algae exists in my tank
and probably other scraps that remain from the other fishes food.
