Wow! thanks for the link. That is most helpful. My one anenome has
split twice and now I have three. The two new ones have moved to
locations that I really don't like but I am a little nervous to attempt
to move them. Their feet are buried in very bumpy rock. I can't see how
I can get started without damaging them. One has moved to the back of
the tank and I don't think I can move the rock to get access without
damaging one of the other two roses. I tried to direct a powerhead but I
think I will only succeed in driving it to the back of the reef. I'm in
a bit of a quandry about it. For now I am leaving them alone. The one
that it mounted on the underside of a rock does not look happy. It only
partially inflates and looks pretty sad most of the time. I am hopeful
it will move on its own to a better ( more open) spot.

I should have read the linked page before my last post. According to
that site they often retreat to dark spot to heal after splitting. So I
think I will just leave the two new ones alone and see what happens.
