when can i replace the goldfish that died this winter

When the water gets warm enough to not freeze again. Keep them in quarantine
first, perhaps an aquarium, or tank for a few weeks. Petstore GF carry all
kinds of diseases, especially the 30c GF.

did the surface freeze over? did you have aeration in the pond?
has the bottom of the pond been cleaned in the last 4 years?
