My fancy guppy tank has been pretty stable, the last problem i had was when
i added a few guppies from the lfs and ended up with a disease in the tank
that was a few months ago, it got resolved back then and since been fine, a
months ago i added a underground filter to work with the HOB wisper thats on
it, when they have babies i turn down the flow a little so the fry dont get
sucked up, and i figured during that time the UG could pick up the slack, in
the past three weeks i lost 2 guppies, since they were 3 weeks apart, and
all the others look fine, i guess it could just be old age or something. Are
underground filter ok for guppy tanks, or not so good, i think the wisper
does a good job, i just noticed that during the time babies are born i
vacuum up more waste. with the UG filter the tank stays very clean, even
with the wisper turned down?
any thoughts

I got rid of all my UGFs years ago. The crud is hidden under the plates
where you can't see it rather in a sponge where it can be *removed* from the
system.
