We (husband, me and the boys, mom & step-dad, if we can get them to
come) will be moving back down in a few years, we thought about the
double wide MH but we lived through a few big hurricanes (Andrew being
one) so my husband said no way, however Naples don't get hit quite as
often for some reason,
Living in Fla poses the threat of hurricanes, so I would suggest either
central or the west side of Fla. I know an elderly woman in Fla and she
said they, on the gulf side, don't get the severe storms the east side
of Fla gets. But now she's in her late 80s so.....
my husband grew up in Iowa/Colorado
but moved toFl, Keys young so he had his share of them. My gram lives
about 5 min from the beach in Naples and has only got hit four (big)
times in the last 10-15 years. Me i like NC we go there often
I heard it's a beautiful state and has a nice climate. I've never been
there.
