Can't find Bio Spira - How to get some?

I have been waiting since the beginning of the year to get Bio Spira.
I keep reading posts from people who are somehow getting it, but no
stores where I live sell it. There is only one online store that sells
it, fishstoretn.com, but they have been out of stock for months now.
The keep posting a "back in stock" date, then on the back in stock
date, they just change it to another future date.

If you include some information as to where you're located, people in
your area might be able to help.

Most stores (brick and online) don't want to carry it because it has to
be kept refrigerated, which complicates shipping and storage.

The PetLand stores in my area (SW of Chicago) carry it.

Aquarium World in Apple Valley California carries it.. As mentioned,
knowing your general where abouts will be helpful in locating the product..

Ummm...

I just ordered and received bio spira from fishstoretn.com a few weeks
ago. Have you tried emailing or calling them directly to ask about this?
I think they were out of stock of the 3oz size, so I bought 2 - 1oz
packets.

What about trying to order directly from Marineland labs?

Seeing this thread, I just noticed that one large LFS I frequent in
person (http://exoticpet.com) has 200w Hagen heaters on sale for 19.99
.... Time to stock up :)

My local PetLand (the only chain store I can get it from..none of the local mom
& pop shops get it, have been out of it for quite a while. The manager said
the company (Marineland) put it on back order as they were out.
I guess the introduction of this product to the market had better results then
what they planned for. = )
I know I like the stuff, and have been on a waiting list for a 3 oz pack.

Hmmm . . . I received my Bio-Spira from
www.fishstoretn.com/bio_spira.html
as well. And this was at the end of February.

Also, I recently found out that my local Petland is now carrying
Bio-Spira. If you have a Petland in your area, I'd check with them.

That's because the place you bought it from still had some of their own stock.
It's Marineland that's not shipping any out to stores until later this year.
(bummer!)
The demand was much greater than what they had expected and need time to grow
new bacteria to package up for us. = )
