goldfish pregnant?

I have a pond in the garden where a goldfish is constantly being
followed by another. Does this mean it is pregnant and what do i do to
stop the babies being eaten??

Hi
Unsure where you live, but this only usually happens in Spring once the
water warms up. This behavour is often followed by spawning, but at this
time of year I would guess that it is just rivalry between the biggest &
smallest for pecking order.
