Got koi?

[tenacity]

Looking for a carnivorous fish that won't go ape-**** on your beautiful
koi? Try a cichlid! I put a 3-in albino cichlid in my 700 gal pond with
a 65 different minnows, tetras, danios, feeders, and two exceptional
koi - one gin rin ogon and one showa - and have found the cichlid to be
a great addition. He snags flies and baby minnows, keeping the
poulation in the pond balanced, but unlike the reputation, never harms
or nips the other fish.

If he had gone anywhere near my koi, he'd be compost, but he's been
perfect.

better adapted to outdoor ponds where there is winter are orfes. control population
but dont touch the koi. dont interbreed with em either. Ingrid

That wont work for us in the cooler parts of the world. What we need is
something to stop them from breeding or that renders them infertile.
