View Full Version : flourish?

Hi.

I know I should probably post this to a plants group, but this is a
general enough question I thought I would ask it here. My plants seem to
be doing ok, but I was wondering if I should consider adding a supplement
to the tank. "flourish" seems to be one of the popular ones on the
internet fish stores -- is this a good investment?

So far, I only have two small, live plants in my tank. I hope to add
more, but haven't had a chance to get back to the LFS. I want to get more
Otos, too. :)

I'm pretty new at this having started only 3 months ago, but I have a
planted tank. I've used Flourish and it seems OK but clouds the water for a
day or so. My plants are all doing very well. I also use a light especially
for plants. My tank is a 29g high and I think the light is a 20 watt
flourescent.

I feel you would be better off posting to
rec.aquaria.freshwater.plants
All the aquatic plant experts(freaks<g>) hang out there.

Flourish and Flourish Excel are great for a low light, low maintenance
tank.... provided you dont' have CO2, and it does seem that you dont...

Slowly increase your fish, quickly increase your plants, and you'll have a
great tank in no time...
