I have a 30G tank and had to do a little refurbishemnt of the Tank over the
weekend, we lost two loaches and I decided the substrate was the problem, I
changed over to Aquarium Sand to keep the loaches happy, anywho, I kep about
10G of the old water and kept the Filter in its old water and simply emptied
the tank, cleaned it, removed and replaced substrate put back a third of the
old water, filled with tap water, used stress zyme and de clorinator, left
for a few munutes and put the gold fish back with there new mates Mr and Mrs
Loach, but for some reason I have Foam on the Water, what could cause this?

Since this is a Goldfish group I assume you also have them in this tank.
When they breed you may see some foaming on the water. Also I've seen
light, temporary foam using Sodium Thiosulfate to neutralize chlorine.

fresh water is a trigger for spawning. GF and loaches are not compatible fish.

But nassty green water is a sign on for Carol to start
****ing.......er excuse me thats spawn.....I guess loaches etc do not
mate with GF and its the same thing why Carol can screw and blow dogs
and goats and not have any offspring, at least that she has told us
about. Carol took to blopwing dogs anbd goats as they don;t run off
and tell......
