Don't bother to shut off the tank light until the water is peasoup green..
Then, and only then, will it be fit to serve the guests.

How about always place tank in direct sunlight to keep it warm?

Save water, syphon water to wash the dishes, use your dish water to
fill the tank.

When planting, alway bury a fish with the roots.

Don't kill sick fish, give them to a friend.
