I hear from ppl that putting salt in a GF tank is a good idea... Is this
correct and if so how much per gallon please ??? TIA.. Rod

Sure add some GArlic and Oregano or all spice, sautee in melted butter
or cook on grill wiping down with olive oils and all spice and pepper
and of course aquarium salt........make sure its kosher......

Some people put salt in their GF tanks. Amounts vary. Probably most people
don't add any salt at all. It's not necessary and many aquarium plants
don't like salt. Check back as someone may come along and recommend a set
amount that works well for them.

if you are on the coasts or use soft water, you need to check how much salt is
already in the water. otherwise, 1 teaspoon of salt per 5 gallons. This can be
increased to 3 teas. per 5 over a few days. Use rock salt with no additives.
