View Full Version : Blue Lobster

June 5th 06, 03:26 PM
Hello all, I have a blue lobster in my tank, who up until now has been
very active (mostly eating my snails). He's molted twice in the last
year.. now he's very lethargic and very white..he was very bright blue
before this.. he's still moving around, eating a little.. but not very
active.. Is he molting again? (it's been about 4 months since his last
molt).. but the last 2 times he's molted, has been just 1 day or so..
He's been 'white' for the last week.. we had our water tested and
everything seems ok..

any ideas?

thanks...

Lack of iodine? Do you add iodine to the water column?

Hmmmm.....
more snails if you can get them.
Also check the temp, don't let it get too hot!!
good colour foods like peas, carrot peel, spirulina tablets and even chook
food pellets (lots shell grit) can help
