Nothing like a shotgun treatment when in doubt. Just go to a store and
buy what appears to fit the bill and dose it..If it does not work k
repeat trip to stre adn buy somehtng else and hit them with it as
well.........repeat with various other meds until fish are cured or
all dead.......Certainly not a method of treating any fish.
If anayone here tellyu or gives yu a suggested cure use common sense,
and do not use it. Unless yu scope them odds are its a hit or miss
affair. There are a few folks in the koi community that are good and
have a bunch of various photos (still not a suitabe sub for a scope
diagnosis, but still lbetter than verbal description) that can
probably suggest a treatment. Go to Koiphen.com......its a web based
forum, and its got some of the top names in Koi and foks in the aqua
culture business on that board, who are extremely knowledgeable. They
may even be able to suggest a person in yur area thatwold check em and
scope em for free as they often do that. NO need to fear telling those
folks where the fish are located at as there are not any kooks on
their like here in the usenet. That would be your best bet. In the
meantime I ewould do more water changes so whatever it is if its
waterborne it wil lget diluted down somewhat..
http://koiphen.com
Only takes a minute to register, and they have a sick fish section
thats is the ultimate in knowedgeable folks
Another good koi forum is http://themudpond.com same type fo people
and wiling to help......USENET is obsolete when it comes to getting
good info out quick espeically if pics would help and the group is
non-binary in nature.
