Oh the Agony

[-ED]

I went to the store for some fishsticks and tartar sauce.....I'm barreling
down the road on the bike at a pretty good clip. Then 3 dogs want to come
out in the street and chase me/my bike. I'm too fast to swerve or
stop...and I ran over one of the dogs. The bike flips, and here I go- body
slammed onto the asphault, rip a good shirt, I get up to see if the dog was
ok..she was,,,but I'm skinned up all to hell, I'm cussing the white trash
neighborhood for letting their dogs run in traffic. And the front wheel of
the bike is bent up like a pretzel. So I bent the wheel (using my good
knee) back into some resemblance of a wheel. One, no-two of the spokes
broke clean, The gear box busted, the chain came off, the handle bars
twisted, brakes were lockup up...and of course, I'm sore as hell today. No,
I wasn't drinking. I don't drink and drive. But I'm wishing I had that
drink on hand right about now.
