Dear NG.

I am currently looking for a retailer of inbred guppy lines with a
known inbreeding coefficient/breeding history and outbred fish from
the same population.

Does anybody know if such guppy strains are for sale anywhere?

Thanks,

Wouldn't that be just about any guppy in any store?? They're the most,
prolific inbreeders there are, considering their gestation period is 28-35
days, they've probably breed with every female in the tank, daily... JMO...

Any guppy in any store is like a puppy mill puppy- dodgy genetics to begin
with propagated by amateurs. There may be the odd exceptions but by and
large you've got a mish mash of breeding behind them.
Find a breeder with a solid history if you want spectacular animals.

Sorry to piggyback- I got so much on my soapbox I forgot to include a link.
Here's a jumping off place as far as serious guppy breeders
