Antique fish tank!

Hey, I'm watching PBS right now (Monday
June 26, 8:50 PM), Antiques Road Show, and
they're showing an antique fish tank - pedestal,
8? sided, looks like it stands about 3' tall.
Ornate, swans around the corners. White paint
peeling off but worth $8,000-12,000. :)
With professional cleaning could be
worth $16,000-18,000. ohmigawd!

I think I saw this aquarium or one like it in
one of my fish books.

The real question is: does it still hold water? If not, then it is worth
nothing in my books. :)

It's an antique. It doesn't have to hold water. You look at and admire
it. :-)

I've seen the same style in books.
