I've been reading since 2001, and occasionally posting. Only check it
every week now, hoping that the trolls have gone away.

The group was fantastic a few years ago, there was a healthy mix or US
and European posts. I adopted 9 fish from a guy who posted on RC.
Amongst all the international ponding debate he and I were only 40 miles
apart in the UK.

You have to admire the perseverance of these trolls. It must take a
considerable amount of effort to keep up the insults and witty back
chat. Imagine if that energy was put to good use.

Don't get your hopes up that this group is salvageable..its just in a
dormant stage all due to Carol. It can easily go to an extinct stage or
a flooded stage with a few strokes on the keyboard.

have posted just fine, until Carol shows up, then everything goes to
hell again.........wonder why.....and by now it should be easy to
figure out, kill file her and yur groups get back to normal, keepher
around and active and the groups are going to suffer........its your
choice however. but either way you all need to quit your crying as its
all able to be eliminated with the elimination of CArol in this group.

What concession do you want me to take Jan? Ownership for what the trolls
do? Why is it my responsibility for what these malcontents post here? I'm
not asking them to be here nor am I paying them to be here. ;-) I have no
control over them any more than you do. I'm not the one crossposting to the
troll, hacker and kook NGs.

I see no reason to leave this NG because a few people refuse to use their
killfiles. All NRs come with killfiles and I keep the same nym. If someone
doesn't like what I post let them killfile me. Isn't the what normal people
on other NGs do? I replied to your post AFTER I saw the troll from ARJ-W
already post here, so it made no difference.........

As a long time lurker and occasional poster, I continue to admire your
wisdom and sanity, Jan. Occasionally your sense of humor, too! °~D

It's been over 100°F here for 1 or 2 weeks. My SIL has sunscreen over the
pond and has installed additional aeration. The fish seem to be doing well.

We've had 100+F for almost a week now, supposedly we're to cool down
starting tomorrow and into the weekend. I sure hope so. I'm taking a car
load to the Portland koi show on Saturday, and the weather reports says 70s
