Opistognathus aurifrons (Yellow headed jawfish) by far! :D
Back when I thought I'd start out with a reef tank, I had a whole tank planned
out revolving around a colony of those wonderful guys.
If we're talking freshwater, I'd say: -Megalamphodus sweglesi, often confused
with Serpae tetras
-Paradise fish due to their flitting movement and changing colors
-and of course, my dear little Platys.
Jessica :)
-Yet another baffled victim of a fish that decided to go MIA.

That is a good question. I like clown fish (nemo) and have one in my
salt water tank. As far as fresh water fish go I think my favorite is
the Angel with Discus coming in a close second. I also adore cory
cats! Can't get enough of them and I have 16 in my planted
Angel/Discus tank. I like bleeding heart tetras and have a tank with
them and others like them (surpae) I also like white clouds and have
a tank of them with some other cold water friends. My favorite fish
used to be gouramis (still love them) but I stopped keeping them
(except for a paradise fish in the cold water tank) a little more than
a year ago when I fell in love with cichlids.

The only real trick I found for spawning Altums is to treat them like they
are Discus instead of angels. Higher temp, very clean, very soft water,
seperate them and feed heavily before trying to spawn them. Most of all,
don't give up. It took me nearly 3 years to get a single spawn.
If you're determined to do it, you can probably do it too.
Breeding them is only a little more challenging than spawning Discus.
It's pretty difficult, but still possible.
Anybody have tricks for spawning Giant Danios ? Since I took them out of the
Oscar tank they won't spawn anymore. Water conditions are the same, more
food is available to them, just no danger of being eaten. Maybe that's it ?
