Hey. Been reading this group for a few days. Great bunch of people here.
My sister had a lemon tetra that was very agressive - it bit the tail fins
off of two of her rummy nose tetras. It was the only lemon in the tank, and
shared it with 2 dwarf frogs and the rummy nose.
I put it in my tank 2 days ago (with 10 mini neons, 4 dwarf frogs, 2 fancy
tail guppies - so yeah, I'm at max capacity in my 10 gal), and it seems to
be doing OK. A few minutes of Googling showed that these guys aren't
typically agressive, but with any tetra, they do better in schools and with
fish who understand the "territory game" that tetras play.
Anyone have thoughts on what may have caused his unusual agression, and if
he starts it again, what I could try to curb it? Or should I just take him
to my LFS?
