Hello everyone,

I wanted to know what's the best way to clean Old used aquarum. It has some
white marks, i don't know of what. looks like salt.

Hard water deposits, probably calcium salts. :)
Use a vinegar solution and wash throughly.

there are a bunch of products designed to remove mineral scale 0 lime-away
is the one I usually use. Use it, follow the directiono nthe can, then rinse
like mad. I usually rinse completely, let dry completely, and rinse again
two or three times, jsut to be sure. Once I;ve rinsed a few times, I fill
the tank, add a tablespoon of bleach (unscented) per gallon of water, and
let soak for 2-3 hours, then dump and rinse well.

after that, its ready to use....

Calcium deposits. Remove it with a mild acid solution (vinegar works)
or scrape it off. Try to avoid scratching the glass.

So is it plain vinagar or you have to mix it with water ot somethng else?

Mix with water, I'd say about 20% vinegar.

Just use it plain but remember to rinse it away after.

Try using ph-lowering aquarium solutions.

They work fine...

rinse
