Does aggressiveness and competition push reproduction?

I know it's been awhile, but I've been around, just not posting as I
used to...

I've got a 29 that's WAY overcrowded, but controlled.... and with a
strange mix of sorts...

8 - 3" yellow labs - 1 alpha male, 2 subs, and 5 females

1 - 6" Jack Dempsey

Yeah, it works pretty well... only it works too well... I've had 4
batches of yellow labs in the last 4 months, and I just wondered if
it's because of the nature of cichlids, their aggressiveness, the fact
that they're overcrowded ( on purpose ) or maybe that they've been
together for so long???

Just dropped in to say, "hi, hope all is well with all...."

If I didn't know any better, I'd think either this group is boycotting
me, ignoring me, or just plain not interested in conversing....

it's probably the imposter who got them all to block me... that's ok,
I'm the original and i'm still here...
