AIEEEEEEARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!
I guess I just learned my lesson about keeping my mag scraper up in the
corner of my tank. Is there anyway to remove scratches from the inside
of a tank while there is water in it or is it a drain (and completely
empty) so you can buff the scratches out proposition.

PS. I didn't yell at my 6 year old.

There's a product used in aviation to remove scratches from acrylic windshields
called "MicroMesh." It contains several different grades of abrasive cloth. The
usual use is to polish with a medium grit or coarser until the scratches are out
and then work through the finer grits until you're really just polishing the
acrylic. It's rather labor-intensive.

Forgive your enemies. But always remember who they are.

Seen this and includes wet applications. I've never used it, so I'm not
necessarily recommending it.

Ouch, I feel your pain. My son-in-law's 6-yr-old played with mine, but in a
glass tank, so all I have to do is retrieve the inner magnet eventually...

But I would not have been soft and nice with him either.

Glass can scratch too, if you get sand in between the
magnet and the glass.
Try the micromesh for the acrylic.
