As the above.

Less than 2 years old, and 12-18 months in it started playing up.
Sticking on, adjusting the temp setting down cured for a while (to
minimum) but not long before tank running on the warmer side again.

I've finally had enough when I found it'd managed to get the tank temp
to 30C last night and was still on, despite set at minimum.

I shall NOT be buying another one of these, ever. Back to visitherm for me.

I don't think that's them, but I'm not installing flash to find out for
sure. They put out all sorts of stuff here in the UK, books, heaters,
food (I think) etc - for fish, obviously. Never liked their other
products much either - shoddy and cheap is the impression I'm left with
much of the time, and this has just confirmed that impression.

Just in, late breaking info, from Water Garden News (yes, I have no life
;~). Central Garden & Pets has just agreed to acquire all the assets of
England-based Interpet Limited & US based Aquarium Products. The
based-in-Surrey, Interpet product lines also include Blagdon, PetSafe,
Pet Love, Red Rum and Mikki. Central Garden & Pets is the same company
that acquired Kent Marine, and already owns Kaytee, Nylabone and All
Glass Aquarium amongst others. Looks like we have a new big player
emerging on the market. Maybe I could interest them in buying out NetMax
incorporated, who manufactures..... hmm, I'll think of something ;~)
