I'd have to say my funniest two expierences were either: When I walked
into my bedroom to see may tabby cat repeatedly whacking the glass on
my 29 gallon tank. Or when I was driving myself crazy looking for my
snakeskin gourami, only to find it had dug itself a "trench" in the
gravel and was hiding in there. (This was because the male was
harassing her, I have subsequently moved her to me 20 gallon and she
is doing great.) What funny stories does anyone else here have?

Submit them to The Planet's Funniest Animals. Sheesh. Call them fishies
and be cute.

I was watching the tank the other day (as usual) and thought how cute my pl*co
looked hanging from a jutting piece of the driftwood with only is mouth for
support. He was sorta dangling there rasping away with his tail moving in the
current.

Unfortunately for him, this was one of the days my paradise fish girls were
feuding and zooming from side to side chasing each other. When they'd get too
close to him he'd foof up his fins and such, but pretty much ignored him.

Then WHABBO! One of the girls knocked into him on her way by and he did a
head-over-tail.

I remember thinking he reminded me of an embarrased cat as he went to hide
behind his log. Hehe.
-Yet another baffled victim of a fish that decided to go MIA.

My 55 gal was first setup for 4 turquois discus, cardinal, Bleeding
heart and lemon tetras. I also had these 4 panda cories. I had saw some
of the cork-screw val was uprooted and was replanting it with the forked
end of an algae scrapper when I saw one of my panda cories, on the
bottom under some drift wood, just kinda rocking in the current,
lifeless. I thought he was a goner. So I used the forked end to reach
under to pull him into the open to net him, as I raked, he rolled over
and over, about 6 inches into the clear and landed upside down. I dipped
in the net and was about to get him and he righted himself and darted
around the tank to find the other cories. I guess he was just napping
soundly.

Hope this helps.
