Hi everyone,
I have 3 Pearl Gouramis with fish lice on them. The largest louse has
tiny cillia on the sides beating rapidly. I think they must have come in
with some live daphnia.
All the other fish - platies, rtbs, corys and a firemouth chichlid are
unaffected.
What is the best treatment please without removing the rest of the fish?
Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Charles,
I have found a treatment that is supposed to work in my LFS. It is called
Interpet No 12 for crustaceans. Trouble is it kill the filter bacteria and,
possibly, the plants so I fave put the affected fish in a 5 gallon bucket
with the medication. I had hoped to traet the tank to kill off eggs etc but
I do not to risk hving to reseed the filter.
Regards John

Some more info here. If you left the fish in the separate container
for a while then the Argulus in the main tank would starve. I don't
know how long it would take, tho.
