I have a whole pile of Mystery snails that need culling! I also have a
friend with an Axolotl... I reckon he'd think they were very good to have in
the tank with him, he would LOVE them...

Would they be any harm to him if he munched them?

TIA
Bill

Hi,

I have axolotls. Although I'm far from expert I would say it
probably wouldn't work. Axolotls have a big wide mouth, rather
than the kind of mouth that can suck out a snail like a loach.
They have a tendency to grab small bits of gravel by mistake
when eating and to spit the gravel out. I reckon mine would
spit a snail shell out and not be able to get the snail inside.

For sure, they are meat eaters. But they don't eat anything unless
I feed them mince by hand, or bloodworm. I don't have them with
any snails but I can't see it happening at least with mine!
