I have a 180 gallon tank with bluegill in it that I have been feeding
minnows from the local bait store for about 2 months without a
problem, yesterday I noticed what looks like little tiny air bubbles
all over them, it doesn't look like ich was wondering if anybody had
any suggestions.
TIA

Maybe velvet? I think Clout will treat it, and Maracyn should as well.
I'll let someone else chime in on that, though.
Try and cut back on the feeders and see if you can get them on pellets
or flakes. I'd try cichlid pellets first. Crickets and earthworms will
work as well.

I think Dan meant Maracide (parasitic, for velvet) instead of Maracyn
(bacterial, antibiotic). These similar names can be very confusing. I'd
also look for Arrowana sticks (good for transitioning carnivores to
pellets, these sticks are quite soft), and follow the rest of Dan's
excellent advice.

Yeah, luckily I don't have to use medications very often, so I'm wary to
give advice to people on them. Thanks for the correction.
