My protein skimmer went on the blink about 2 months ago. I had a Red Sea
Prizm since I got my tank, not having anything to compare it to, I thought
it worked just fine. The only complaint I had was it was noisy. Well
after a few years, it stopped working and it was time to replace it. I went
out and got a Coral Life Skimmer. It is quiet as can be. Me not knowing one
from another, I do know that this is much better then my old Red Sea.

An automatic coffee maker is more of a ****ing skimmer than a ****ing
red sea prism is clueless.

I have an ASM-3 that seems to work well although it does take a lot of
room in my sump.
