I'm attempting to breed Sailfin tetra, Crenuchus sp, and I think I may
have had them spawn once, but I never got any fry.

I'd be interested in hearing any experiences other people have had
with spawning this tetra. Even accounts of failed attempts are
helpful.

All I know is that they love spawning in a huge clump of Java Moss...

You sure you're thinking of sailfins? All info I've found (and seen
myself during my breeding attempts) suggest sailfins live like dwarf
cichlids, ie they're territorial cave spawners, with the male guarding
the eggs...
