What protein skimmers have you used or do you use and what do you think of
them?

Which skimmer have you ever used that just did the best job in your opinion.
I am needing a hang on skimmer for a 55 gallon...so I am looknig for one
that can handle up to over 100 gallon tanks.

I'm using an ASM-3 and a AquaC Remora. Jury is still out on the romora,
but I like the ASM-3 a lot.

I had a Red Sea Prizm and now I have a Coral Life. The red Sea was noisy and
not very good. The coral Life I really like.

The one on my main tank is "AMiracle", as in "if it does a good job, it's a
miracle." I doubt that they thought of it that way when they named the product
line that. It does an adequate job for me, and it's quiet, but it's air driven,
which is not highly regarded these days. It hangs on the back of the tank.

I bought a Prizm skimmer for my hospital tank. It's a piece of junk.

If you torture the data long enough, eventually it will confess
to anything.

I used a RED PRIZM (46G), and at the beggining it wasn't very good, but
over time start removing a lot.
The problem is the excessive bubles created, causing some stress on the
fish.

Technically, they are all desing to do the same, so why waste $500.

I got a cheap JEBO in sump skimmer(125G), and it's not the greatest but it
does the job properly.

As with all skimmers, proper adjustment is crucial.

Good Luck,

Ruben
