10 days ago bought a 90 gal tank, it has a seaclear protien skimmer
that has not skimmed anything - it has about 200 lbs live rock in it,
4 fish so I know it skimmed at the previous owners. the pump on it is
a rio 2100 approx 643 gal hr pump ability... water is flowing into
collection chamber and out of out put tube, the water is swirling in
the tall tube but no bubbling action noted, the water line marking on
the tube itself is not reached, the overflow sump water has bee filled
to max, so that is not it, could the pump( i have taken apart and
cleaned) not be working well enough to pump this pressure..... I would
not think so....
the air flow blue part has been adj to allow max air flow..... but no
change, please advise becky

Is your air tube hooked up to the venturi valve correctly? If so, is
the tube and valve clear to allow air in?
