One of my Fluval 4 plus filters is every twenty seconds or so spewing out
loads of tiny air bubbles by the thousand, this has only just started after
being ok for about a week.
I'm running two together but no fish yet.
My water readings after 4 weeks with no fish but adding fish food every
other day along with a teaspoon of cycle.
Ammonia still high 7.9
PH 7.0
Nitrite zero
Nitrate almost zero
Does this sound correct for 4 weeks and should I now put a fish in?
Thanks again,
Haynes'ey.

Ammonia needs to be 0 - 7.9 is VERY high and would kill your fish. Wait for your
ammonia levels
to drop - nitrite should go up and eventually this should lower and nitrates
will go up.
When Ammonia and NitrItes are at 0 your cycle has completed. Test your NitrAtes
and if high
do a water change - THEN you can add fish.
Fluval filters thorwing air bubbles out? I wouldn't worry too much as long as
the intake is
still taking in water.

There is a little knob ontop of the outlet you can twist to stop this as
bascially there is an inline air in-take on the outlet of the filter.
