View Full Version : Not So Aquatic Plants

The plants in my aquaria seem to last equally long whether thyey are true
aquatic plants, or simply those sold by the LFS that seem to last OK
submerged but are really not aquatic - some house plants EG Aluminium Plant
illustrate this.

My question is, what house plants can I cultivate to supplement the
aquarium?

I guess I'm looking I can keep growing in pots to supplement the aquarium as
and when necessary.

I usually do not place house plants in my aquariums or customers
aquariums unless I use them as bog plants (leaves out of the water).
The plants I have used successfully here are: aluminum, Purple Waffle,
and Mondo Grass.
