This morning I found a second black molly with a white spot on its
back near the head. I found the first a month a go and moved the fish
to my quarantine tank to observe. The spot neither went away nor
grew. With this new one I decided to ask you all if it means anything
to treat. Both fish have good appetites and swim normally .

I say it's worth a shot to treat. I used "quick Cure" (I believe that
was the name). And it cleared up the Ick. I would recommend first
putting the temperature in the tank they came from and the quarantine
tank to around 85. I would also try and minmize the fish's stress, if
possible.

Good Luck,
Evan Davis

I don't think it is ich. Both fish have this single white spot. The
first fish has been in the Q tank for a month. The same spot is there
and no new ones. I am thinking abcess.
