Hi all,
All was well in my tank till yesterday when my dwarf sunset gourami seemed
to have developed "hole in the head" disease. I noticed some slimey white
poop from the platies at the same time. I did a 30% water change (20% weekly
normally) and added 3 Jungle anti parasite tablets to the tank (30gal).
There's no change in the gourami todya. My water parameters are:
ph 7.4-7.6
KH 80
GH 150
Nitrites 0
Nitrates <40
Temp. 82-84
One of my books says to add vitamin powder to treat the gourami. I'm quite a
ways from any LFS and am wondering if I can use a crushed up people
multi-vitamin tablet. Any thoughts on that? I appreciate any assistance as
I'm still fairly new to aquariums (only 8 months). thanks.
