Water Hyacinth to Share?

I was looking for a quick growing floater to fill in the "stream" section of
my pond. Anyone in the Raleigh / Durham area have a small bunch they are
willing to share?

In yuur area, I wuld hit the local river and streams and lakes as its
all over inthem regions in the wild, and I am sure NC authorities are
not gonna do a thng abut yur remvoing natural fauna fromthe states
waters...nor would any private owner......but ask those pirvate types
first so yu do not get a load of buckshot in your ass......but the
states waters have tons of WC in them.........and I bet if you were to
harvest it all, you would be a hero and get your self a monument to
being such a dude!

Rob,

Surprised that you can still get one of those these days. They were outlawed
last year in my state - Arkansas.

WQC are alive and wlel in the nothern states for the most part. Its
the warmer states they create problems. Alabama water ways are choked
up with the dam stuff along with parrots feather and iris and pickerel
reed.....

Lacking a source ofr WC look for some Frog Bit. It gorws great,
exports nitrates just fine, just like WC does, and its an easy over
winter keeper in a tub of water or fish aquarium wth a light......IMHO
much better than WC is but it is not a flowering type plant, but
certainly a great floater for shade and nutrient consumption
