We noticed what we thought was likely breeder stock also. We have
picked up some gorgeous new male bettas. They usually have the normal
reds and blues. However, we got a black with cream fins and a black
with big wispy clear-grey fins that have an iridescent blue shimmer on
them in the right light. I don't know the technical names for them, but
they are gorgeous.

Sorry bout not adding this to the original thread. I lost it erasing
SPAM the other day.

Hey no prob.
It's hard trying to discuss actual fish keeping on a troical fish
group with these idiot around.
If you don't know about a great tropical fish group without the
fruitcakes or monkey butt boys, here's the link. You'll need to sign
up, but it's well worth it.
Lots of knowledgeable folks post there and since it's moderated, fools
like the idiots here can't post there.

Boy, Roy doesn't like it at all when somebody advertises this group
that was formed so HE and another person would not be allowed, and
will surely go on and on and on about it and the folks there. So block
him if you can (A.Paul.Ing, and bobandcarole ).
(Hissy fit temper tantrums are his M.O. this is how he bahaves because
he was kicked out of the moderated pomd group and went nuts on
everyone associated with the folks that are in charge. I'm a current
target because I speak to one of them...a lovely lady named Gill (said
like Jill).

Right now all the females I recently bought are vying for the alpha
spot, and it's pretty obvious to me already who it will be for sure.
The prettiest white opaque (green geno..meaning she shimmers a lovely
pale green with the light hits her right) out of the batch.
The next nicest is a lovely exteded red with black marbling on her
back. Shy girl though. Must be one of the lowest in the hierarchy, as
she wants no part in the action.
I have her pegged for breeding with my black round tail male.
I should end up with a mix of reds and some black fry.
The black crown tail male that I have is still iffy in quarantine, So
we'll see.
The last black crown tail I had was gorgeous, but didn't make it past
quarantine. = (
You mentioned not knowing the technical names-terms for specific
colors, etc. There are a couple sites that explain and show pics of
the different types and fin varieties out there.
Would you like them?

Oh that's a good one moron.

<HOw many others do you see keeping up such extensive posts as TYNK
does....none.

UM...YOU!
And sure, I post a lot. Mostly about FISH on a tropical fish news
group.
You, however, are a toy for amusement.
You re-write my posts to be something nasty or vulgar, post it as if I
made it, then you reply to what you just created.
Roy, that's insane.
You really aren't right in the head and anyone who has ever dealt with
you knows it.

LOL, oh that's a good one.

Poor booby.
Couldn't come up with anything good, so it attacks my intelligence.
Yawn....
