Just a quick question for anyone that knows, I'm using a hagen life glo 2
and a power glo in my aquarium. My aquariums planted at the back and I'm
wondering which bulb is actually best at the front and back. I have been
using the life glo at the back because its the brightest and the power glo
at the front for fish colour, but I'm wondering if the colour spectrum of
the power glo is better for the plants?

thanks
Scott

I have not used the Life Glo, however my understanding is that it is a
6500 K full spectrum light with a reflector.

I have used the power glo (which is a good bulb). This is a 10,000 K
bulb that I have mostly used in marine applications, but it is still
an excellent FW bulb.

Based on this I would recommend the Life Glo over your plants.
