I would like to add a few cichlid to my existing 25 gallons tank, and I
would like your opinion on which one would best fit with my water parameter
and the current community:

At the moment, the tank has the following fish:
5 Silver molly (including 2 tank-born youngster)
2 Black molly
2 mixed molly (one is orange with black spot, and one is a 50/50 mix of
silver and black (with some tint of blue, says my wife)).
1 SAE

The tank is planted, 100% flourite substrate and DIY CO2; 55 watts compact
fluo from ahsupply.
Water parameters as of 7/19/2003:
Temperature: 25 C ; pH: 8.0 ; Nitrate: 10 mg/l ; Nitrite: 0 mg/l ; Ammonia:
0 mg/l ; KH (Carbonate Hardness): 60 mg/l CaCO3 (ppm); GH (General
Hardness): 100 mg/l CaCO3 (ppm)

Thanks for any insights.

With your water conditions and current fish, I would suggest some of the
small shell-dwelling East African cichlids. Most other cichlids that
tolerate high pH would be likely to fight with or eat your mollies.
