Two pictures of a pseudotropheus on a website I found. As far as I
know, the colors are accurate. Is this an available strain, or just a
lucky hybrid?

It can be very difficult to accurately ID a fish that is from a group that
is prone to hybridizing, and which has many unidentified species. Age, sex,
and which side of the rock pile they came from all can affect the external
characteristics. Many fish can only be done by visual inspection after
dissection.
But then, I am not a Rift Lake cichlid fan so providing any ID on most of
them would be an educated guess at best on my part.
