I am starting a new tank and might not kee chiclids, but the crushed coral
that i mixed into the gravel to buffer the PH is still present. Will this
adversley effect other fish, and if so is there a way to dissolve the coral
using some sort of acidic substance?
Thanks

Depending on how much crushed coral is in the substrate, and what type of
fish you are planning on keeping, you may not have to remove it. If you are
aiming for less hardness in the new tank, it's not that expensive to replace
the gravel in total.
