No, not the resident YoYos. :-)
I finally got around to replacing the Barbs that decimated themselves a few
months ago, so I picked up four Clown Loaches (Tropical tank), 3 Yoyo
Loaches (office tank) and 8 Cardinal Tetras (Tropical tank) to restore their
numbers. They're all sitting in quarantine for now, the waiting is going to
kill me.

These have got to be my all time favorite fish. Clown loaches are the best.
Yoyo's are another fish I seldom see here. How large is the tank they're
going into?

I saw your reply in Google.
They will be going into a 55, which will eventually become a 90.
Their are already 3 Yoyos, 3 SAEs, unknown Otos and 5 Cardinal Tetra's in
this tank. I had 12 Barbs before the SAEs, but they all knocked each other
off. I've lost three Tetras over 2.5 years.
The Yoyos are going into a 20 to control the snails. This tank has three
SAEs, 3 Cherry Barbs and unknown Otos.

My tiger barbs were too nasty last time. I wont buy any more of them.

Do you have a lot of live plants? You sure have a lot of algae eaters. I
have otos in all the tanks. They're nice small peaceful little guys.

I had six Tigers Barbs and 6 Rosy Barbswhich lasted almost a year, but then
started dropping like flies. The water seemed fine and the other fish were
OK, including the Tetras.

Yes I have Otos in both planted tanks. The large tank has been neglected
most of the summer (CO2 empty and one bulb gone) as I keep hoping to get the
90 gallon going. Both tanks are pretty much consumed with huge Sword plants
and a few Red Ludwigia. The office tank has really done well without my
intervention.

What is the PH of your water? My swords always struggle along while the
vals and some others go crazy.
