bad idea...

its kinda like grouping tetras and piranhas together. There's cichlids and
then there's CICHLIDS...

On a more serious note, the angels are just a tad more aggressive then most
community tropicals. They have those long graceful fins that just scream EAT
ME! and they don't really move all that fast. Most Malawi cichlids are the
exact opposite. It might work for a while if you put the malawi's in as 1"
juveniles w/ say a 2/5" to 3" angel. But the malawians will growand
eventually get territorial and eventually they'll clobber your angel.

we are new, i am, to fish anyhow and i would like to know if its sensible to
mix a black angel and two malawis in the same tank. ive heard that angels
are cichlids and shoudl be fine, then i heard not. who do i trust and who is
right? anyone who has some constructive criticism, could you please help.
