I have a nice big male Aulonacara jacobfreibergi (aka "Yellow Jake")
in my tank, with 3 smaller female peacocks to keep him company.
They've been in the tank for about 4 months now, living peacefully w.
their tankmates and the still-growing plecostamus. Well, over the last
few days, the Yellow has started to be fairly aggressive towards the
other fish, esp. the pleco. He's already chewed up some of the pleco's
dorsal fin, although he's otherwise unfazed. He spends the rest of the
time darting around, extending his fins, "showing off".. is he
courting or something? He's been acting weird. Water's fine.
