I found a surplus chiller, but it seems like 200 BTU's is ridiculously
small. It would take 4 hours to reduce the temp a degree. Does that
seem right?

Yea, 4 hours to reduce the temp 1 degree is
definitely too small.

Well, my leading contender is a $1300 1hp titanium system with 12,000
BTU's and a hitachi compressor. Way too big for my needs, but I'm soon
to have 400 gallons of aquariums, and I thought it would be fun to try
some aquaculture.
Not sure I want to spend that much....
