large photos

tanks are resting at nitrates 10ppm since i started clearing the skimmer
neck regularly skimmer neck clean

the pictures are of the red (slime?) that grows near the light source

i've been cleaning it up reg. vacuuming works the best. if you kill it you
have dead slime.

Yep, that's cyanobacteria.

It does not look like you have it real bad. A little
lowering of nutrients will take care of that. Have
you tried using phosphate remover.
