redwag platy

ive had a redwag platy for some time now and recently had 38 fry about 3
weeks ago and they are all in the breader for there own safety. there R no
other males in the tank other than the fry in the breader but now out of
nowere she looks pregent i would have said so earlier but i thought she just
got fat but she seems to be getting bigger is it possibale ? but then i
wonder, ive heard that they always look pregnet.

You will find that with any livebearers they have the ability to store
sperm for quite some time. At times I have gotten female swordtails at
the shop and have had them in my tank for a few months with no other
males and they give birth

THX 4 the info, i want to get a new bread of tropical fish that is beautiful
but is not vonarabale to ICK or infections do u know what type of fish i
should get?

Pretty well most all fish are fine to keep as long as your faithfull
at keeping water paraeter and its environment like it should be. There
really is no such thing as an ICH free fish.

well i mean one that is not like an ick magnet like swords or mollies do you
know of any fishs that dont atract illnesses

No fish attracts illnesses and disease. Some are more resistant than others
but all will succumb to overcrowding or poor water conditions. Parasites
are passed from one fish to another. Even healthy fish can be infested by
one already carrying them. Like another poster suggested,.... read up on
tropical fish and their care. Buy a few books. Google "tropical+fish+care."
