Moving 3 feet long leopard eel

My friend is moving with his tanks and we are going to
catch 3-feet long leopard eel (australian tessalata).
How would you catch the beast? Is it safe to put your
bare hands in the tank with this fish? :-)

Sure the bare handed method is quite safe. Or use a #2 Mustad hook,
baited with a piece of Flame beauty angel or a $39
Fireshrimp........tied to 10# test line, or just drain tank dry and
snatch it up with a pair of channel lock pliers on its lower lip. A 2
band spear gun works fine too...........

In all reality just pretend its a super long dick and I am sure all
you reefers can easily figure out how to handle it then........
